Personal Injury cases are cases where you have been injured and the fault is of someone else, or negligence. It has to be someone else’s fault, you must be injured or have something wrong with you that occurred from the accident, and there must be a pool of money to collect from if you get a judgment. Basically there must be some type of insurance or the person at fault must be wealthy because you can’t get money from someone who doesn’t have anything. You must also go to a doctor’s office or a hospital. These factors determine whether the case is a personal injury case.
